The postures of the sculptures that are inanimate yet imbued with a notion of agency often closely allude to ensembles encountered in nature or simply outdoors – from colorful life underwater around corals to forests with rarefied, tall tendrils and trees to motley groupings of human beings. However, blurring boundaries between life form and object, the unclassifiable hybrid bodies she creates, disrupt taxonomies and unsettle perception, while simultaneously raising the spectator’s curiosity and encouraging them to closer observe a plethora of details that reveal true craftmanship.
